## About Give(a)Go

Give(a)Go is one of Europe's largest communities of people who learn by doing. We're not just a tech community — we bring together engineers, designers, filmmakers, founders, researchers, students, and anyone who'd rather build something than sit through a talk.

Through monthly hands-on events across Ireland and Germany, we empower participants to move from curiosity to practical creation. ## Event Formats

### Builder Days
Full-day building sessions (11am–6pm on Saturdays) — deep dives where participants build real projects and leave with functioning prototypes. We provide a supportive, distraction-free environment with starter kits, mentors, and example ideas. The day includes building time, food, coffee, games, mini-games like Kahoot and Type Racer, and ends with live demo sessions to celebrate what everyone created.

### Hackathons
High-energy sprints where teams ship something real into production with prizes at the end. Brief kickoff, then build. Participants ship something tangible and show off what they made.

### Workshops
Shorter weekday evening sessions (6–8:30 PM) for hands-on introductions to new technologies. Participants leave with a working project every time.

### Workshop Structure
Each event is broken down into 3 levels of complexity: no-code version, low-code version, and advanced+. This allows everyone to have results in our short timeframe. We obsess over preparation with easy-to-follow documentation, well-researched tools, and plenty of examples so participants spend time creating, not setting up.
